These arborvitaes are evergreen trees from the
cypress family. They are found primarily throughout
eastern Canada and the northeastern United States.

All 3 of these arborvitaes make really nice screening
trees.
Burning Bush shrubs have dark green leaves from spring
through summer. Then, the leaves of the Euonymus alatus
compactus will turn bright, red for magnificent fall foliage when
planted in full sun.
Leylands and Murrays make a good privacy screen, buffer strip or
wind barrier. Leyland & Murray cypress is a graceful, rapidly
growing evergreen tree that is adapted for growth within the
6-10a USDA hardiness zones. They are considered relatively
pest-free.
For newcomers to the Sunshine State, gardenias are frequently one
of the first plants selected to become part of the home landscape.
Gardenias are evergreen shrubs that grow in height from 2 - 15 feet
(depending on the cultivar), forming mounds of glossy, dark-green
foliage. Leaves are oval shaped, and flowers vary in color -- from pale
yellow with purple mottling to creamy white. Probably the most
distinguishing characteristic of the gardenia is its sweet scent.
In my opinion, Japanese Cedar is one of the finest
evergreens for the landscape.   It's soft, whispy, feathery
foliage has nice color in spring, summer, fall and winter!
The only requirement of Cryptomeria is acidic soil and
protection from the drying effect of winter winds.
The Nellie Stevens holly features dark green leaves, lush
growth and a natural pyramidal form. It typically grows to
20 feet tall and 10 feet wide, but in ideal conditions it can
grow much larger. It is adaptable to most soils in USDA
hardiness zones 6 to 9. The Nellie Stevens holly is a fast
grower, up to 3 feet per year. It is often used as a
screen because the foliage remains intact and grows
thickly from the ground to the top of the plant. It is a
durable shrub that is widely used in commercial and
residential landscaping.
