Sawtooth Oak - Quercus acutissima is a wide spreading, clean
foliated shade or lawn tree. A great source for wildlife food because it
begins to produce acorns in its fifth year. The Sawtooth Oak Tree is
highly prized oak tree for wildlife enthusiasts because of the short
time it takes for the tree to produce acorns. The Sawtooth Oak Tree
will begin to provide acorns in 4 - 6 yrs. Sawtooth Oak Tree has a
moderate water requirements and has a moderate tolerance to salt
and alkali soils.

The strong, close-grained woods warps and checks badly in drying
