Jane Magnolia (Magnolia x 'Jane') is a hybrid
magnolia variety developed in the U.S. National
Arboretum in the 1950s. This small tree is has
tulip-shaped, slightly fragrant, red-purple
flowers with white insides. The foliage of
magnolia Jane is leathery and dark green. The
tree grows to a height of 10 to 15 feet and is
commonly used as an accent or specimen
planting in landscapes.
