This red table grape can be eaten fresh, in salads, as a snack or as a dessert.
Flame Seedless is a medium small sized seedless grape .It is firm skinned, tender fleshed
variety of grape. Flame Seedless is of red colour with an exceptional taste and round
berries. It has mild, sweet/tart flavor and when ripe is a dark flame to rust red color
with a slight bloom. This type of grape is very popular in the United States.The
availability of this variety is from February to the mid- April.
Most Americans would pay more for grapes devoid of seeds. Grape breeders have
obliged, releasing a steady procession of seedless varieties to go with the Thompson
Seedless, the granddaddy of all seedless grapes. The Red Flame was introduced in
the 1970s.
'My guess, based on all the people I know, is that they just don’t like spitting
seeds,' says a farm adviser, explaining why seedless grape varieties are
taking over the marketplace
