Some nurseries sell you newly rooted branch cuttings
as evergreen trees.
They claim they are very delicate and you’ll see very
little growth the first year. They tell you they keep
theirs in the pots 1 to 2 years before selling them, this
is total bull. It takes 1 year to fully root a Thuja cutting.
Our trees are around 5 to 6 ft. in 2 years.
Our small liners are very well rooted,very strong (not
delicate) and will put on 18 to 24 inches of growth the
first year if cared for properly.
