Planting Tips
When planting 3 gallon size trees, dig your holes 16 to 18 inches round and 11 inches deep. Do
not mix fertilizer with the soil, top dress with a good slow release fertilizer after you plant.
GO the extra mile and care for your trees real good for atleast 1 whole year,it will really pay off.
Water in deeply after you plant. Keep them well watered for the first two years after planting.
You can not over water.
Hardy in Zones 5 to 9
When planted between 4 & 5 ft. apart, Thujas will grow 6 to 8 ft. wide & 25 to 30 ft. tall.
When planting new trees and shrubs in sandy or clay soil, we recommend mixing Black Kow® with and equal part of
soil from the planting hole. You will find Black Kow at all Lowes stores. If you can not find the Black-Kow brand, use
what you can find...if you have the real thing, thats even better.
