| Thuja Green Giant - 3 to 4ft. |
| Planting Tips When planting 3 gallon size trees, dig your holes 16 to 18 inches round and 11 inches deep. Do not mix fertilizer with the soil, top dress with a good slow release fertilizer after you plant. Mulch 3 to 4 inches deep(very important) The more care the first year will make for very nice trees. Water in deeply after you plant. Keep them well watered for the first two years after planting. You can not over water. Hardy in Zones 5 to 9 When planted between 4 & 5 ft. apart, Thujas will grow 6 to 8 ft. wide & 25 to 30 ft. tall. When buying 3 gallon size Trees, if they are not atleast 3 ft. Tall...they are not rooted in to the bottom of the pot. This can cause problems when planting. |
